Hiding Class and Level

Bringbackpluto has proposed that we hide Character Class and Level at the character select screen. The poll result will be respected.

I'm lost here. Why do this?

The only place I see a reason to hide things is during logging into the server to see who's on. Why would you not want to see your own PCs' levels etc?

I think he does mean for other players, not your own.

it's other player's levels/classes. it wouldn't hide your own at all.

also, it still shows the names of players logged in. the ONLY thing this changes is where you see other player's levels and classes. e.g. 30 fighter 10 weaponmaster would be hidden, at the login screen. it doesn't affect anything in game (since you can't see that info anyway).
